Workstep: Who is eligible?

Job seekers with disabilities or health problems meeting certain criteria:

  • Claiming Incapacity Benefit and/or NI credits only
  • Claiming Job Seekers Allowance and or NI Credits only for 6 months or more
  • Claiming JSA or NI credits only for less than 6 months but in receipt of IB before Claiming JSA
  • A former supported employee who has left or progressed from the programme but who needs to return (time limits apply)

Or

  • A current employee at serious risk of losing their employment due to their disability or health
  • A recent/prospective education leaver who does not fall within the above groups but who has clear evidence of need

In most cases a Disability Employment Advisor (DEA) or Personal Advisor (PA) at your local job centre will assess individual eligibility and make a referral if appropriate to Whitehouse Enterprises.
